I’m Julie, and I hold ceremonies, workshops and retreats for inner transformation through grounded, heart-centred practice.
My work brings together cacao, kirtan, sound and the voice, creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and feel more at home in who they are. I also work with essential oils to gently support the emotional and creative flow within these spaces, allowing things to open and move in their own time.
This work has been shaped by decades of lived experience, including my own relationship with anxiety and depression, a deepening path of sobriety, and many years of personal inquiry. It hasn’t come from having things figured out, but from learning, slowly, how to listen more closely to myself and to trust what I find there.
Alongside this, my background in organisational psychology has given me a deep understanding of human behaviour, particularly the ways we adapt in order to cope, survive and belong. Over time, this has naturally woven into ceremony with the more intuitive and embodied aspects of my work.
Choosing to live without alcohol in 2019 was a turning point. It brought me into a more honest relationship with myself and a clearer sense of my own inner authority. It’s a path I continue to walk, and one that informs how I hold space for others who are exploring a different way of being.
Most of all, I love watching the sunrise, drinking cacao, creating music, sharing kirtan and being in ceremony. There is something deeply meaningful about coming together in spaces where connection, creativity, cacao and kirtan sit at the heart. If this resonates, you are warmly invited to join me in ceremony.
